New York artist Shaun Leonardo joined us today. He shared some of his work with us, and a lot about his life as an athlete and an artist. Shaun sparked some intense discussion in class about what it means to be a man, about sports (especially football), violence, power, and the many ways that physical gestures such as kneeling can be interpreted.
